The thing is, this card is used very differently alongside Thassas Oracle

I believe it is worse than the sorcery spell as you cannot target yourself, which comes up regularly for putting a creature into the graveyard, but having the ability to reanimate Grief from the graveyard is nice

Outside of that (or the Command Zone) hes quite mana intensive for a tutor

This Simic card was clearly designed as a casual, value-oriented commander for sea monsters decks, and it hits that note perfectlyat the expense of never doing anything else

The synergies are easy to understand, and budget-friendly options exist at every price point
